A proud product of Jersey, Glen is passionate about the Island, its financial services industry and the legal and regulatory environment that supports Jersey’s position as one of the world’s leading offshore international finance centres.

Glen has focussed his career on the Jersey regulatory environment and has built a strong reputation as an exceptional regulatory technician with a passion for investigation, analysis, design and innovation. Due to his direct and extensive first-hand experience, passions and aptitude, Glen is uniquely placed to help Jersey businesses implement an effective approach to modern risk and compliance activities through his business, Efficace.

Glen has worked in the Jersey Financial Services industry for 20 years and over the last 15, has held senior risk, compliance and key person positions (MLRO/MLCO/CO), acting as a trusted adviser, and managing teams, in some of the Island’s leading wealth managers, deposit taking businesses, trust companies and fund services businesses specialising in financial crime compliance, compliance, risk management and infrastructure development.

In recent years Glen acted as the Country Head of Financial Crime Compliance for a major international bank in Jersey and prior to launching Efficace, was the Head of Risk, and formerly, Head of Risk Infrastructure and Initiatives for a growing Jersey trust and funds services business.

Glen holds a law degree from the University of Exeter and the ICA Diploma in Compliance. In his spare time Glen has a young family that keep him busy. He is an avid practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is passionate about all things wine and ancient history related. Glen is also a Francophile and speaks French, studying with the Alliance Francais.
